Target’s Holiday Beauty Preview: Gifts for Every Budget

The only problem with Target’s holiday beauty gifts is that you won’t want to give them away.

A couple of nights ago I was invited to take a look at Target’s Holiday 2012 beauty gifts preview. It may be the first week of November, but we all have a mental gift list going on in our heads, a budget to deal with (urgh) and a desire to find things that will make everyone happy.

What I found at the preview was not only presents that start at  Bodycology body mist and body cream for $1.99 to CHI’s Air Straight Iron ($99.99) that comes with a satin clutch… How cool is that? To accessories and jewelry that will make you think, “One for them and one for me.”

Part of the evening’s festivities included creating a face chart based on a theme using Pixi and NP Set makeup, The winning blogger or editor would have their face chart re-created on a model and it would be photographed for Target’s online magazine, A Bullseye View. I cannnot draw and will not inflict upon you what I created. My theme (I had to pick it out of a jar) was “Ski Bunny” the glammest I could get with that was glitter eye pencil…and I’m a gal who loves glitter.

Here’s just a few beauty gift suggestions that I saw that night:

Speaking of glitter NP Set has Day to Night Glitter duos ($15, target.com), they’re a liner and glitter duo that changes your day makeup into date night ready, and the NP Set Glitter Duos ($10, target.com), gel glitter duos in two combos (Sao Paulo) and Rio de janiero that you can place on your decolletage, shoulders… anywhere.

pixi holiday kits

PIxi’s palette The Early Bird kit ($34, target.com) will make  you swoon with your choice of bronzers, blushes and eye shadows. The glittery (there I go again) Pixi Nail Colour Trio ($12, target.com) has three full-sized nail polishes or your digits and toes.

E.L.F’s got palettes to make any beauty junkie swoon. There’s the 83-piece Essential Makeup Collection ($20, target.com). A mirrored, multi-leveled case that’s filled with hours of playtime fun. Wanna go crazy? Check out E.L.F’s 144-piece Eyeshadow palette in neutral and bright ($15, target.com). Talk about an eyeshadow wardrobe!

Oh, and there’s watches, bags, shoes and jewelry to add that finishing touch to your holiday outfit. Great looks without breaking the bank. Evil and gorgeous.

The only problem you’ll have perusing the collections is what are you going to give and what are you going to keep.
